Nairobi, mattina, ore 6.10.
Nairobi, 6.10 in the morning. At Riruta Satellite, Kabiria Road, some light breaks through the clouds after a night of rain, the last of the season. People going to work to the town centre or to the industrial area hurry up, they cannot afford to miss the matatu waiting at the end of the road. Children, with their different colorful school uniforms, go with little enthusiasm towards the school. It was the first week of June, and this is what I saw from my window.
