Piccole grandi notizie per i bambini di Kivuli e gli ospiti della Shalom House.
Robinson Murundo, istruttore di arti marziali a Kivuli e portinaio dell’ala C di Shalom House, ha partecipato ai campionati mondiali di arti marziali in Argentina ed ha vinto una medaglia d’argento e due di bronzo. La squadra del Kenya ha vinto in totale sei medaglie, le altre tre di bronzo.
Christopher Wekesa (Kiri per gli amici), del primo gruppo di bambini entrati a Kivuli nel 1997 e successivamente portinaio sempre dell’ala C di Shalom e istruttore volontario di calcio per i nostri bambini, e contemporaneamente giocatore del Gor Mahia, nella Premier Ligue del Kenya, è stato convocato al ritiro della squadra nazionale del Kenya che incontrerà la Zambia sabato prossimo qui a Nairobi. Small great news for the Kivuli children and the habitual guests of Shalom House.
Robinson Murundo, martial arts instructor to the Kivuli children and receptionist at Shalom House wing C, has taken part to the martial art world championship in Argentina and has won a silver medal and two bronze medal. In total the Kenyan team has won six medals, the other three all bronze.
Christopher Wekesa, (Kiri for the friends) of the first group of children that entered Kivuli in 1997, and later receptionist at Shalom House wing C, plus football coach for our children and player of Gor Mahia in Premier Ligue, has been convoked as member of the Kenyan national football team that will play against Zambia here in Nairobi next Saturday.
